I specialise in Addiction, Eating Disorders, Attachment (codependency and Love addiction) and Trauma, working in a person centered way to help, guide and support clients through difficult life transitions as well as day to day support.  My therapy Practice is based in North London and Harley Street.

My MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling has enabled development of an effective way of working with clients suffering from addictive disorders.  In addition, I have extensive training and practice in Post Induction Therapy (PIT) based on the pioneering work by Pia Mellody.  PIT is designed to introduce the concept of recovery from developmental immaturity, trauma and codependence issues. PIT aids recovery from relationship and attachment issues, addiction and eating disorders as well as issues including self-harm and anxiety/depression.

Over the past 7 years I have developed a depth of experience in working with a wide rage of complex issues and I usually see change happening early on in my work. Prior to my involvement with the therapeutic world I worked in the performing arts, founding and developing a successful dance enterprise. The expertise of working with creative people through difficult life stages and processes has proved indispensable in my therapeutic work. I have been accredited with NCAC (National Counsellor Accreditation Certificate) from SMMGP (Substance Misuse Management Good Practice) and BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

2010 - The youngest recipient of the ESMOND ROBINSON AWARD at London South Bank University, at the time covering 100% of the fees and enabling my specialist training.

2014 - Accreditation by SMMGP

"I just want to thank you so very much in getting me to a place that I haven't been in for decades (honestly).

Your wisdom, support & encouragement gave me the strength to face up to truths, feelings & fears that I had been too scared to face."

"I found Zoe's empathic approach to counselling to be very useful, I had tried different types of therapies before but this was the right one for me. It made me feel supported and able to engage with issues I'd previously found difficult to discuss. Her help has been invaluable."  - SM LONDON

"I found Zoe online at BACP after my son attempted suicide, failed, praise be, and I needed to talk this through with someone.  Her initial email response oozed understanding so I chose her.  She was very understanding, kind, non judgemental but challenged appropriately when needed.  I cannot say enough good things about her, very professional.  I can recomend her without reservation."  - JJ London

“After 6 months with Zoë I was able to turn a life-long hurtful relationship with my mother, who has narcissistic personality disorder and used to drive me crazy, into a well-functioning loving one by setting very strong boundaries. I am also equipped with Zoë’s tools to maintain a life as a functional responsible adult.”  - Anonymous Trauma Client

"She was constructive, supportive and showed me a path to thinking more clearly about a challenging phase of my life." - Anonymous Anorexia Nervosa Client.
